Kirk was born in Penticton, BC and was raised in the Okanagan and the British Columbia Rockies. He moved to Vancouver in 1999 to learn to tattoo and is now working in his hometown of Penticton, BC. He’s thrilled to be living in the Okanagan Valley with his wife and son.
Kirk is now an internationally published tattoo artist and an accomplished fine artist, working in watercolour, ink, acrylics, coloured pencils & chalk. His fine art is heavily influenced by traditional tattoo imagery (both western and eastern), as well as lowbrow and pin-up art from the 1940s onward.
